In 1991, Fred Segal and I created the nation's first ecology department store. I also helped fund a campaign which forced the First President Bush to go to the U.N.'s Earth Summit (because he refused to go). The environment is important, but John, your focus on poverty is "THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE". You need to be as creative as Carl Rove, to frame the poverty issue and the solutions you offer with the same kind of sound bites that sell Coca Cola...so that people can hear your message.

He's some awesome. He truly needs to be the nominee and our next president in 2008. I've seen him speak numerous times, and he has grown so much as a person and as a candidate. More knowledgeable, confident and so much more. He has my vote!

Edwards was accused of being shrill in the last debate. Jesus expressed anger and and took a whip to the money changers in the temple who were harming people through predatory lending practices. Some times anger is the appropriate response, especially when jacked up interest rates are making over 50% of our citizens slaves to the bank. A vote for John Edwards is a vote against poverty.

Some politicians are like meteors. They arrive in a flash, but soon disappear.
Some are like planets. You know they are out there, you're just not sure where.
But John is like a fixed star, whose light is constant, universal.
If America thinks with the top of its head, and the depths of its heart, it will reward him the vote. So far, this millennium, we have cast horrible, deadly, catastrophic, votes. We are going in exactly the wrong direction. We should be going toward that constant star.

I so hope this man can win the Primaries and put the other Dems to work on his agenda to address poverty, healthcare, jobs, and the Environment. We really need him. This speech was very intriguing and thoughtful. What do others see in Obama or Hillary they don't see ih Edwards? I dunno...but I see a guy who really could tap into the unrealized potential of America.

It all depends on Iowans now. They have to face the reality and understand that elections 2008 CANNOT BE LOST AGAIN. Hillary and Obama are great people but they will loose if they get the nomination. No matter how you like Bill Clinton his wife will not make it. It'd be great if she did, but she won't. THIS IS THE REALITY! Obama? ..... Oprah just made another impressive show, but that's where it'll end.
