After KICKING the side of my computer to get the hard drive to start up (It was only a 1 yr old Maxtor)!!, I knew it was time to clone it as soon as I could before it failed.
I used my Copy Commander 9 Program to make the clone of my old drive on a bigger WD one. Then I decided to back up my wife's computer by cloning her hard drive to another too! Here is how I did it.
Also, if your drives are bigger than the 137 GB barrier allows, then set up the drive in DOS first so your computer "sees" the entire 320GB or what ever size you choose.
And absolutely DON'T FORGET to RUN the "SCANDISK" (tell it to fix errors automatically) on the ORIGINAL drive before copying it over or it will stop in the middle and you will have to start over, as Copy Commander 9 won't let you copy errors....And that is good!
