i tried to take singers that may be of the same calibre and mesh them against eachother. What do you think? Didn't wanna name the singers in the title due to having that "surprise effect".

You don't have to have a powerful voice to be a singer. Hitting high notes and having a powerful vocal range, doesn't mean you can't have your place in Music. You can take a small voice and make it big. Janet and Modanna both proved that. I am more fans of Janet and Madonna, than I am of two powerful vocal singers Mariah and Whitney. I maybe more fans of Janet and Madonna because they know how to bring the heat. Having a small voice or big voice doesn't mean a thing.

Both are musical icons. I'm a Janet fan, but I'm realistic. Janet has the better look, music, voice, and moves. Madonna has the better lyrics, global status, overall control of her career, and prime example of sustaining and prolonging a career in entertainment.

madonna was lip synching to Take a Bow...janet was not...They both have different qualities to their voices...I prefer janet's voice to madonna's but appreciate both...I think that Janet has way better music than madonna, But I have alot of respect for madonna. I think that Janet definitely sounds better live as well. The face that she does so much more than Madonna and still sings live is great...

This is really funny.
True "Take a Bow" is playback as it is taken from a German TV show. Live vocals can be found if you look at the performance from the Grammys. She has never done it live since.
Listening to Janet's vocal on all these clips except "Again" I think they are pre-recorded. They don't sound live. Madonna's live vocal is a little imperfect and sounds live. Both artists are very good at attracting attention and they are not trained singers. Enjoy them both :-)

Lip sync to one song and she lip syncs to them all..come on people. That was an old recording. Madonna does most if not all her stuff live and most artist do the same. Video footage can be found of Mariah Carey lip syncing. Lets forget about how much you love someone and focus on the facts. Madonna is a far better singer and its not all whispers and breathing. Its signing loud and at times hitting operatic notes
