My mom had lung cancer.... she got it 2 years ago a few days before my birthday and the docters got rid of it and we had high hopes but a year later......we hit another wall... she got diganosed with brain cancer and we are still fighting it......one of the worst things is......that im only 12...god bless

i am so sorry for your loss. i think it is a great outlet for you... and a testament to what a fabulous father you had, and a loving, and kind daughter he raised. You are all he could have dreamt of. My father passed away, in 2005, and i can't say that it gets easier... just easier to talk about. He started w/Prostate Cancer which morphed to lung cancer. My family and i find the "race for the Cure" to be a therapeutic outlet. God Bless you... and your dad... he just pulled in a whopper!

It's so sad cause you never know when it's going to come or even why its going to come. My mother had breast cancer but luckily we found out that it was just stage 1 so it wasnt terminal. It just goes to show you, that you have to live life without worrying about that type of stuff and hope that you will die as a happy old man/woman with grandchildren. Im very very proud of you gaurdianangel for going through that with an attitue that shows hope for anyone. THANK YOU!

Thank you....sorry to hear about your father....God Bless you also. My aunt found out in late June that she had Lung cancer....by July 1st doctors had found that it spread to everything in her body. Cancer has done this to 3 of my relatives!
