I've noticed something reading these and other comments regarding this game, and I feel I have to say something about it. I love this game. I consider it one of the most epic games ever. The setting is awesome, the collosi are awesome, even looking for the goddamn lizards was awesome. But bring me to tears? NO. Emotional, passionate moments where you feel sorry for the bosses? NO. Come on, when people look at the comments and read that, it's no wonder they think we're all fanboys.

I'm in agreement with you, but maybe some of us that are brought to tears just enjoy the sheer artistic beauty of the game coupled with the amazing story and gameplay. Not that, I'm trying to be rude or anything.

How far you allow yourself to be immersed in the game will effect how emotional you find it. It's a personal thing to do with how far you empathise with the characters. Personally I like to let games, books and films totally absorb me, but it doesn't effect any media that I read. It's up to me, not the quality of the game.

Yeah, when you play a game, read a book, or watch a film you have to sense all the harmony between the music, the story, like if you were living that story, as if you were that hero, and feel all the epic moments like if you were the protagonist, that makes a game/book/movie be a master piece, a thing that makes you fell like all the epicness is going into you. Maybe i overexplained myself, but that's what i think.
