Actually it's 10 years ago, the game was released in 1998. EVERYONE who owned a PlayStation remembers this game. It's a classic :) Such a pity the games that followed never capitalized on the success of the first.

theres 2 different intros to tenchu1, and also 2 different endings... Japanese have 2 releases of Tenchu1, first was Tenchu (JP) // then U.S. released Tenchu-Stealth Assassins with slight upgraded, so JP released another version of Tenchu1 -- Tenchu Shinobi Gaisen with even more upgrades
