ha really its only 4, because 300hp is bmw's numbers. but its actually 310hp (they reduce the numbers to make it easier to insure), and also bmw test at the wheels and not just engine output like cadillac. which means that cadillacs 304 is actually like 280. and i DO know that.

The first thing to do when you dig yourself a hole, is quit diging. So throw out some more numbers that still dont sum up to 8. However, who cares the point is that the Cadillac has proven itself to be more than a match for BMW. Cadillac is gaing ground especially with the new CTSV which has embaressed the M5 on the "Ring". Heres a tid bit of information. In June Cadillac sales apart from GM were up. In June BMW sales sanz Mini were down in the United States. Does that have any bearing on the fact that this car is as good if not better than its BMW competitor? No, it doesnt thanks for proving my point regarding fools and falling back on other stuff in order to dilute the argument and draw attention away from the fact that BMW got beat on this one. BMW doesn't use a cadillac transmission. they use a automatic transmission developed in house. with software developed using formula 1 telemetry.

Here it is in an even simpler format. Cadillac sales in June, and this year, UP. BMW sales in June, DOWN. I cant put it any simpler than that. However, interestingly enough BMW buys tranmissions from Cadillac to use in conjunction with its I6 engines in several of its product lines. BMW as of late has run into stiff competition not only from a resurgent Cadillac but from several other brands. Nobody stays on top chief, Cadillac didnt and neither will BMW. Its cyclical.

Its called the 6L50 automatic tranmission. The programing is different yes but the unit itself is from Cadillac. The manual tranmissions are different one is a ZF unit and the other is Aisin however the 6speed Auto is pure Cadillac Mr. Math genius.

yes it is cyclical, except for the fact that the people in power at GM are incompetent and completely unable of running a company. so even if sale were up, and probably not by much, it wont last so you're right it wont last. they'll do something to screw up. GM always does.

Thats your opinion which you will have to learn means nothing in the place of facts. There is no arguing with the fact that the recent salvo of products from GM are shaking things up. From the Z06, Cadillac, Buick Enclave, G8 and others. Not including the next round based on the "world" platform. So attack GM all you want, talk outdated percieved quality, talk financial trouble but the fact remains that Cadillac has hit a home run and one that has put BMW on notice especially with the new gen.
