I don't think that there is any reason for synchronisizing Monkey Island I or II.
The games were/are good anyway, it's not necessary to add voices. Reading the text isn't quite difficult, it's only less comfortable...

There are indications this was planned from the very start. There are things even in the first Monkey Island game that pointed in this direction. Play it again and pay attention, looking for the little signs. It's quite fascinating! Too bad a different team took over for MI3 (though I enjoyed the game, personally).

ScummVM is your best friend. Look it up on Google. It's an emulator that can run all these old games easily on new platforms like Windows 2000/XP. Give it a shot!

this is a section that can only be gotten to if you're playing it on the hard mode. on the easier mode, you bypass the need for this puzzle. well worth playing through the hard mode in my oppinion hehe
