Blues harp*Have Another Drink w/Hugh Feeley*The Blue Riders
Hugh's playin' the chromatic mouth organ for keeps(also a Hohner 10 hole). The technique is more demanding. You can ´t do much note bending. You couldn't see the camera from the stage, so there was never that kinda' pressure. This jazz and blues club had spent more half a million dollars on the sound/video recording equipment. The recording quality was state of the art in 1995-96. The sound man was a recording e ngineer. Too bad its location was so poor; it went out of business within 2 years of its opening.
You can tell Hugh's background studying clarinet counts for a lot. In learning to play the harmonica, Hugh transcribed a number of the instrument's masters' solos ...that's why he's got ears like deers. He's more than just a 30 year veteran of the music scene. He's got a deeper background than most harp players __wherever you're making the comparison from.
