Today on the Sally Messy Yuckyael show: "Grouch who got involved with kitten!" O the suspense!
I usually don't care for much of the 90's stuff, but this was too funny not to be seen. Those grouches sure know how to spoof our talk shows. And with that, our 1993 Sesame Street viewing experience comes to a close. Sorry about the Barney announcement at the end - I know that a majority of us
don't care for that show.

omg, the credits.... THAT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES!!! i love the credits! sometimes they still use these SAME credits! well, not ALL of it, you know the part where Big Bird dances with the little black boy in the red shirt? they still use that. i love sesame street!

The closing credits at that time were AWSOME! Say, supernoise, do you have any episodes that feature "Around the Corner" in them? If you do, could you pleaaaaase post them? I would really apreciate it. But, if you don't...well..that's fine to.

Sesame Street finally retired those obsolete closing credits this season! It's a good thing too, they were totally hacked in recent years.

The part that comes after the closing credits's final year was 1995. In 1996 for Episodes 3601 to 3625 only, They had this new thing of where after the credits Big Bird would say Coming Soon To Sesame Street and then the red TV icon seen would zoom out and they would show scenes from the next coming episode.

And then it would show the purple backround with Big Bird saying Tootle-loo!, and then a blue backround would appear and Gordon would say Funding For Sesame Street Is Provided In Part By The CPB And By Public Television Stations And Their Contributers. And then it would show the CTW logo with the bouncing letters.

That part that comes after the end credits for Episodes 3601 to 3625 only were then discontinued starting at Episode 3626. And whenever Episodes 3601 to 3625 were shown a second time, the part of where Big Bird says Coming Soon To Sesame Street and shows the next upcoming episode was gone.

The only change that was made to the part that comes after the end credits starting at Episode 3626 was that after Big Bird said Toodle-loo! Gordon would say Funding For Sesame Street Is Provided By The Anual Financial Support Of PBS Viewers Like You.

Yes indeed.
Glover was a regular character on this show from 1990 to around 1995 or so. He played a guy named "Savion". :)
