Well, havinfg been born in 58, I seen the last of the original rock scene, and witnessed the " British Invasion " first hand ( 60s ), seen Woodstock come & go, as was the case with Funk, Disco, Punk, & a slew of other music styles, & having come from a family that was immersered in music, I was privy to the music that went before my birth as well :) Lucky to have been born at just the right time & area :)

I recall seeing Rio Bravo and such movies and witness hundreds of women cry out, sigh gasp - nearly faint when he looked "their way" ... The closest to Ricky was Fabian and UK's Cliff Richard. Elvis had too much "grit" for these boys. Those who came after the 60's don't know what they missed: Blues, Jazz,Gospel, Rock'n'Roll, Rock-a-Billy ... Soul ...
