de for my girlfriend for her birthday, which includes a bunch of songs that she loves. It's a violin and piano duet, at times with several overlaying tracks of each. All the parts are played by me, and they are all covers that I arranged. It was all done on GarageBand on my MacBook, and though I bor
rowed my friend's performance microphone, I realized halfway through that I didn't set it up correctly and that everything that I had recorded so far was through the built-in microphone on the laptop... and I didn't have enough time before her birthday to re-record everything on the performance mic,
so I just did the rest using only the laptop. So everything you hear is recorded through a MacBook sound pickup. This was my first time recording anything, but all comments/feedback/suggestions/questions/complaints/compliments are welcome! The recording was supposed to be one long track, but becau
se of YouTube's 10-minute limit, I had to make some awkward cuts to make it three parts. Just listen to them in order and pretend it's continuous! The pictures you see that I put along with the music are random screenshots from the GarageBand file of the recording, mixed with a couple photos taken
