Andy Kaufman made a second appearance on the show "Fridays" after his "botched" first appearance which ended with Kaufman nearly coming to blows with cast and crew.
During this second appearance he appeared as a "born again" Christian. He opened the show with his trademark "Mighty Mouse" routine then, intros his new Christian singing fiancé and sing a lifting spiritual tune. This is the full monologue and runs approx 9:40

I love Andy's Modus operandi - get the people to laugh at you then completely disarm them with sincereity. I really think that was his one punch line. He was committed to the abusrd.

Actually, it was the exact opposite. Andy loved anyone who appreciated his work. But, he especially loved the "people" who would insult him, boo & hiss, like you. The fact that you are here even posting & searching for someone you "don't care for", made Andy's day. In fact, sort of makes mine as well.

Andy did things in a different way. He was interesting, crazy, funny & just got folks talking. My favorites are ignorant people that talk crap, like some on this very thread.
