It's in Felder's new book Heaven and Hell. Don and Glenn proposed that they get 2/7 each and Joe, Felder and Tim 1/7 each. Joe and Tim took it and made millions. Felder said "But 30 years ago you said it was an equal split!". Bad career move!

The band may have been Henley and Frey, more or less at different times. But, the contributions of the other members (at any given time)were strong factors that made the Eagles great. E.g; the beauty of Meisner's voice, Take It To The Limit, Leadon's guitar & voice, Train Leaves Here This Morning, Walsh's guitar, Life In The Fast Land, and, of course, Felder's guitar on Hotel California. Not the same without it. It's the one Eagles song recognized world wide; simply by Felder's guitar.

ok gang...i have seen most of the major bands in concert over the years...you name 'em..i've seen them...BUT...BEST BAND in concert hands down...THE EAGLES...the major league champs...no ones close...i saw them in 1994...4th row...FELDER AND henley were the stand-outs...i hope he took those guys and their manager for millions...by the looks of felder...i'd say he did...

It didnt cost him, the eagles had to pay him an undisclosed amount of money because he was an equal share holder, like Henley n Frey, don't you know you dumb ass, the =share holders were Henley, Frey, Meisner, Leadon, and Felder, but the other 2 quit so that only left Felder, Henley, and Frey, and then Henley and Frey decided to pay Felder, Joe and Timothy less, when Felder had signed a contract stating that he was one of the three =shareholders left in the band. do some researching you dumb ass
