i cannot help the tears welling in my aged eyes as this lovely girl sings one of the most touching of love songs ...the lyrics match the theme and the way she renders this melody complements it so magically....lets have more of Yulia Townsend !

I totally agree. That's one reason that Hayley has never won New Zealand's "Female Singer of the Year" award while Yulia has won it twice. Still, Hayley does have a wicked bank account.

Bollocks Gerry. The New Zealand "Female Singer of the Year", is not based on such minor techicalites. It can go to pop singers or all sorts. Hayley never got it and probably never will, because it is designed to help New Zealand talent through publicity and a little grant. What's the point in throwing a 10k grant at Hayley when Bic Runga, Yulia and others might really need the money? The Judges are right.
