FIX: Hey guys, i found a fix:
put some rum on a cloth (or flannel) and wipe the disc in a circular motion, then with a dry cloth wipe the disc in an outwards motion, leave it to dry and it should work :)

use a dvd laser lens cleaner it worked for me that fucking annoying noise went away and it allowed me to save my games again and it totally stopped the freezing too
