The present Age is called Dark Age because most people lack religious qualities. The foundation of religion is Shame or conscience followed by truth, contentment and mercy. The Temple Priests used to be 100% devoted to serve God and for this reason, they used to leave their families behind to take over the job of a Priest in Moses Called a Rabbi. As people had full confidence in their Rabbis, the Rabbi cannot be of any tribe but those who have been assigned this duty by Moses. Two tribes are known to have been assigned these duties and they are Levi and Cohen. John, the Baptist belonged to the Levi tribe and He was the Prophet Elijah as He did not carry the surname Zechariah of his father or be known as son of Zechariah. Prophets are not assigned to a particular congregation but to the whole world and so he could not be given a surname. John, the Baptist was a Prophet of Adam as Christ Jesus was of God. He was baptising man in water in the name of Abraham. Christ Jesus being the anointed Adam, He honoured Him greatly. He did not love Mammon at all. He had a camel skin tunic and lived on honey and locust in the Jungle. Unlike the other Moses Priests, he did not put on expensive silken dresses or lived like kings. Thus, John, the Baptist had 100% devotion to God and no love for Mammon. Rabbis are rulers in the name of Yahweh, the demiurge god, the creator of male and female but what makes their moral teaching effective or living was the Light of God. Light of God you only get when you are 100% devoted to God and no dependence on Mammon at all. Thus, in order to become a Rabbi, the men would leave their family homes and take up the Rabbinic post in a far away village so that there is no contact with his family. It was like to be as if the person has died leaving behind all his relations, property, etc. Devout Rabbis would offer their own blood sacrifice instead of the bull or other animal at Passover. For Rabbis keeping law and order that creates heavenly atmosphere in the village, Christ Jesus said the Keys to the kingdom of heaven was given to the Rabbis, but when they became greedy and corrupt then they would neither enter themselves in to the kingdom of heaven nor let any one else enter into it. Christ Jesus in His Saying stresses relinquishing one?s secular identity and life; some became eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven ? Matt. 19. Rabbis received their education in the written Torah, the Scriptures and the Oral Torah, the Word of God or Gospel that cannot be written down in ink on paper from an enlightened Rabbi. But as the Rabbis became greedy, corrupt and hypocrites, then the understanding of the Oral Torah was taken away from them and they were plying the dead Scriptures. Moral laws or written Torah could be visualised as the Tree of Life bearing fruit with roots in Oral Torah or Gospel. The disciples of the Rabbis were the Fruit known by their Rabbis. Rabbis used to coin moral laws at the Holiest of Holy Temple, which Christ Jesus described as the Winepress producing Old Wine, the Scriptures in the Light of Gospel but as they became corrupt, the Owner God sent many messengers to tell them to produce good quality Wine but they loved Mammon so much that they maltreated and killed them. Then Owner sent His very Son that on knowing Him, they would honour Him and treat Him with respect. But they became hostile to Him as well and killed Him too. Then what would you expect of Father? He took the Winepress away from them and gave it to others. So, this Holiest of Holy Temple in Jerusalem that was destroyed in 70 A.D. now exists in Amritsar known as the Golden Temple.
