backflips are kind of embarassing. it's like a circus trick or something. bmxers aren't clowns. average joe has no clue what a turndown or a tailwhip is. and those are some of the best looking tricks.
i'm sorry, but I just can't take backflips seriously. leave those stunts to dirt bikers, they only have like 4-5 tricks anyway. bmx has a huge variety of moves that look better and are actually harder than backflips.
