They probably won't make a second season, most animes don't after they're licensed by dub companies in other countries.
Also, chances are they won't see the petition, or they won't understand it. (Keep in mind that they speak a different language, and although there may be, and probably are people who speak English, they might not care enough to ask someone to translate it.)
