and when was the last time you were in Tibet? Tibetans before the big protest had more freedom than all the other minority groups there. And where are all these people disappearing? Or did we forget that private companies posted live feed videos all around the Temples? I watched the Tibet protest live even after China tried to clamp down on news videos.

Thanks for a history lesson. Let's ignore that it was Tibetan led military that ousted the Dali Llama, and the rest of it's history. Would you also share the name of the leader during that time that committed the acts and then look up his ethnicity or do we want to ignore that as well. Or that there were Chinese there before the "Tibetans" We wouldn't want history to get in the way there now would we.

I think Dalai's propaganda is so successful in the west, no matter how the chinese govt and the chinese people explain, they will not believe, though i agree chinese should keep explaining to them, but instead chinese people should concentrate on building Tibet and improving the economy there, chinese should care more about their tibetan brothers, and time will tell that Tibet will never apart from the motherland, China.

This video really made me laugh. All this time I am thinking that the china is treating Tibet people badly and now I found out that the leader of Tibet is treating there own people twice as bad. Well if I have to choose I pick the Chinese. I feel that my God put us here to grow and make life better for the next generation. People need to have a reason to live.

The LOCALS are the RIOTERS. The protest started by the monks was a PECEFUL protest. Then the Chinese Soldiers began brutally beating the monks and THAT was when the locals became involved and fought to defend the monks.

The Monks didn't protest, they took part in the riot. they smashed shops,homes,schools and hospitals! and please don't tell me it's PROPAGANDA. i read articles which were written by hongkongnese and taiwanese who had shops in lasha, their shops were burned and robbed, during when the soldiers and police did nothing, but watching. if the soldiers can react as fast as they allowed, there would be no 800 houses burned! Let me remind you that DLLM himself was a Shugden practioner, but he realized it was wrong. In his public teachings & speeches he told he was wrong to practice shugden from his experiences. He never banned or ordered others stop practicing, thus giving religious freedom.
Dalai lama returning to power is not an issue. Tibetans want independence and return to their motherland. Tibet is democratic nation, they have prime minister in exile named Samdhong Rinpoche, highly educated person.

1. DLLM 14th didn't practise Shugden, although formal DLLM's did, DLLM 14th only appraised and cooperated Shugden, not practised. Shugden is Red Branch, and DLLM follows Yellow branch, which are different. 2. We know what tibetan exile government is, it is famous for its corrupcy, >50% of the international aid were taken by them as private pocession.
