there is an underlying anachronism here because Buddy Holly actually played at the Apollo in 1957 and he recorded the songs Its so easy and Rave on in 1958. So the only song in that ensemble he could play would have been Oh boy but its the most accurate biopic on Buddy Holly out there at the moment

this is one of my favorite movies ever, and considering the fact that Don Stroud actually learned to play the drums, Charles Martin Smith learned the bass and Gary Busey learned to sing and play guitar so dedication to the craft, who cares if it aint dead on history it is still a great performance.
