Hello everyone,
I felt like I had to make a video regarding Contact Lenses & caring for our eyes. Many more people are wearing contact lenses today. They are fantastic and convenient. However, since then; more and more eye infection cases has occured.
As a Hygeine obsessed being, I am guilty in putting my own eyes in danger. We only have one pair of eyes to last us a lifetime. So in this video, I decided to talk about contact lenses safey tips, advice and information. This is mainly geared on disposable lenses (daily, weekly, monthly & annually) or even coloured. So here are some things you can do to protect and prevent your eyes from infection. Keep them healthy! ^_^

it actually has been proven that excessive use of the computer and reading causes nearsightedness. It is more likely to develop if your parents are nearsighted. However in 1900 only 5% of people were nearsighted in the united states. Now it's about 1/3 and that number will only increase over time.

does it matter what kind of eye drops i use to hydrate my eyes while i have my contacts on ?? cuz i heard before that you should only use specific eyedrops because some of them can harm your eye if your wearing contacts :/

Thanks so much for the info! My doctor's office didn't tell me ANY of this stuff- they just told me how to put them in and out. I never would have thought not to sleep or shower in them.

short sighted means that you can see things that are close to you but things far away are hard to make out.
If you use eyedrops check to see if they aresuitable for use with contact lenses I have awful eyesight. :( I wear contacts all da time.. even wen am not supposed to .. oops

Yeah.. its completely safe... I play bball and wear lenses all the time.. (But you should be carefull not to hit with the eyes, cause they may fall)

one hit and they could break or fall
i have contact lenses..not officialy but next tuesday before my birthday il have them.
Oh and heres some advice on how to take them out abit more easier.
put ur finger on the contct and look up and at the same moment get the pad of ur thumb and stick it on the white part of the get and pick the lense up

actually, i just got my contacts a few days ago and i thought that at first too, but the clarity is so much better with contacts and you don't have to clean them throughout the day like you do with glasses

this video is really helpful :P i should be gettin my lenses next week...it still scares me, but i dont think its as bad as i think it is... just one bad thing is that u cant sleep with them....xD cuz i always go for a nap nd end up falling asleep.... T_T
