I would challenge anybody to come up with a female singer who has such an immediately recognizable voice. A truly unique and wonderful voice taken away far too early. Love Love Love the lady! These songs take me back like no others. I can't stand it when The Carpenters are written off as dated and passe or dissed by some asshole who fancies themselves a music critic. They were awesome plain and simple. Nobody ever sounded like them or will again. Love those old songs, some can even make me cry!

I've been listeneing to this song for 16 years now. And I'm only 16. It was played at my Grandads second Wedding after my Grandma Died. And now every time I go round there. This song, or something like it is on.

I certainly agree with you. Thumbs up for sure! I 've listened to the Carpenters since I was at least thirteen. I'm 45 now. They were even the first concert I went to in my hometown of Fort Waynee, Indiana.
