Yes, you are correct insomuch as this is indeed a - very entertaining - clip from a British comedy. But it seems that you are using this 5 minute clip as entirely representative of the massively wide-ranging and unquantifiable genre that is "British Comedy". It's like commenting on a clip of Hitler and saying, "Tch, men are all such bastards." Anyway, Armando Iannucci is brilliant, and has been behind some of the greatest examples of "British Comedy" in the last ten years.

It was painful to watch, until you realised the wit was hidden in the pie. then the other guy looked like a twat, an armando looked sane. i almost smitched it off before it finished, it was that painful to watch, but im glad i didnt. beautiful.
