Sadly, this is only the fourth movement. The Scherzo is the second movement. I wish I could find the other three movements from this concert. I feel that it conveys the message in a more comprehensive theme. Nevertheless, this is a brilliant concert of music made by a brilliant man, directed by a brilliant man.

I'll risk the ridicule. Beethoven's 9th is beautiful, but VERY long on the ear at times... and can almost reach 'noise' in parts.

ück, das von Beethoven gebildet wird! Dieses bilden wirklich mein Leben glücklicher! Keine Angelegenheit ist Karajan' s oder Berstein' s-Versionen, alle haben eine große Arbeit erledigt, wenn sie heraus das Beste von Beethoven holten!
