I loved The Libertine! I was weeping when the movie was over. I literally couldn't cope. It was devastating. Johnny's performance was brilliant.

Yeah that wink..in interviews he always comes off a little shy, speaking slowly and searching for words, but that wink came with such ease..like it is built in in his system lol, I think that's what he used to pick up women (and it would have worked..)

The interview annoys me..she only talks about the sex-part and when he tries to talk about the dialogue she again starts with the sex, and then goes on to pirates?!?
This movie was amazing. The prologue and closing monologue make it worth watching alone. When it was over I felt so weird..confused and sad, and wanting more of this character! It's ridiculous that this film didn;t get the attention or the critical acclaim it should have recieved.

It's really good though, in my opinion, it just gets really deep. It's based on a 17th century writer named John Wilmot. It's heavy.
