why r u interviewing these people who barely speak English, let alone have no clue about the question you ask?! - it's like asking pedestrians! so unprofessional, Russia has a long way to go to back up the reserve-currency ambition. backing ruble with gold/oil/silver/other commodities/food/fresh water busket would be a start - a lot of hot air from meaningless international conventions is a waste of time

and why would Russia want this stutus anyway? apart from the prestige and super-power? why do we need expensive ruble long-term? Euro-counties are suffering from this btw. oh, i know - to be able to print $25billion-worth of rubles a week should we want to - not very commandable. i doubt that we should pursue this pointless ambition, there are other ways to be super-strong and respected/counted upon internationally - please feel to convince me otherwise if u can

Yes, their English skills are most relevant as they hold jobs that require them to be both fluent in this language and to know what they are talking about since they provide the name of the bank they work for.
Besides anyone agreeing to be interviewed should do at least a bit of home work not to look stupid on international TV, the same is true when making a point elsewhere.
