Everyone, all 12 years old or so, is sitting there looking stunned for about 10 seconds and then suddenly we all break out laughing like crazy. ohhhhhh... ok, I think I see where you got this. You listened to the Anthology 3 version of The End, which does indeed end with a sample of A Day in the Life, namely the chord in question. However, if you listen to the original Abbey Road version, you will notice the complete lack of said chord, whereas you will find it if you listen to the Sgt. Pepper's version of A Day in the Life.
