Cort, I think it's foolhardy and errorenous to assume that ANY information today is factual. Everyone currently has their own agenda. The truth will not surface for a solid half century. Sorry, but that's the way our crazy world works.

My point was that my Dad didn't believe me when I was telling the truth, he whooped my ass because he was convinced that I was lying which I wasn't. I ended up just making up a story about how the mud got on my back. Just like the prisoners at AbuGharib just made shit up, anything to stop the torture. When someone is beating you, you'll say anything to get it to stop, even if you have to make shit up. Torture = Bad intelligence. I was just coming home from baseball game.

I agree with you on that. And I do agree this war is being mishandled, grossly. However, my problem is that it's a media war, planned completely around trying to promote good PR.

If the Americans would bluntly state that 'We want to secure Iraq against Iran and make sure it's resources go to us and our allies, not China or any other rivals', I think they would be better off. I mean, it's not like support for the war would be less then it is under the banner of 'Freedom against Terror'. The whole WMD mess was just horrible. I support the troops, I served in the military for six years, the United States has lost it's way when we adopt torture as a tactic of extracting intelligence. Since I do support the troops, I don't want them to be put in the position of breaking the law, the Geneva Conventions and the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). I will NEVER leave this country but I will do my best to fight assholes like YOU, who think that this behavior is OK. Fuck you very much you GOD-DAMNED FASCIST!

Tessa, I thank you for your service to this country, I honor and respect your sacrifice, however; torture is and always was wrong. It's not your fault that you have been brainwashed to think that torture is right. This video IS about torture and the US's recent adopting the tactics of torture.
