Um....no they didn't. There is no way to back that up. Mao used dogmatic Communism and Hitler had eugenics and Christianity. Their policies of murder had nothing to do with natural selection, and would not falsify evolution even if they DID use it to justify their policies (which is utter rubbish).

Faith is believing in something not yet seen but hoped for.....Christians believe or have faith in the fact that God created things just like he said he did. What Darwin gave us what we call the evolutionary algorithm, that means if you have -Variation -Selection -Heredity THEN You must get EVOLUTION or Design out of Chaos without the aid of the mind That means the design is mindless, no IDEOLOGY (read GOD) behind it, and yes it was the final tool we atheist needed to understand the design around us without ideology or your gods. So there you go, no intelligence needed to guide evolution.
