For nearly six years now the message board battle has raged. Samus Aran vs. Master Chief: who would win a battle of the armor-suited titans? Arguing fanboys everywhere should realize, though, that the competition presents a false choice. As the above video proves, when Samus Aran fights the Master Chief, we're all winners.

What do you mean? That the girl at the end is Linda-058 from the books? She's not a Bi/les. and also she has sanguine-red hair. Very good sniper specialist so she wouldn't do a lot of up close combat. And also Kelly-087 was the fastest out of all the spartans, running up to about 28 MPH. Even so, Samus would somewhat be very much faster. I don't get why some people thing Master Chief is a chick..to be honest its kinda stupid cause why would M.C have a voice changer to sound manly and have....

Oh wait, I lied about Kelly. She can run up to 62 KPH (38.502 MPH). Thats pretty fast but Samus would STILL be quite a bit faster. That was one of the errors in this video..This video was pretty good besides the ending and a few mistakes.

i'm curios whether all the moves are from various parts in the matrix. it would shed some light on just how the freak this was made. the only reason i would think this is because even the last scene of the fight, when they're flying away from the explosion looks like neo flying with morpheus and the keymaker in hand. either way, this thing is great.

lol we can't get technical about this guys, because nicole never fought the covenant on earth, she's in the 21st century. i love the video though, it shows that MC probably could beat samus given if their armor was matched up equally, samus is just too powerful with her armor and gadgets. rofl in a way it kinda reminds me of the movie Rocky Balboa, even tho Rocky lost everyone knew that he could win if he was in his prime.

Monty himself says that he used the spartan from DOA, since he made the vid, I chose to believe him. good analogy, though you kinda of contradicted yourself. you basically said before the analogy that Samus is too powerful with all her stuff, and implied you would have to take her out of "her prime" to be matched up equally... unless the Analogy was directed at Samus...

all the same it was meant to say that if they were matched in both the same armor given the same conditions to scientifically test them, MC would probably pull out the winner. maybe if they both had no suits, but i dont think Samus's Chozo blood could stand up to MC's augmented body. his bones are practically industructable.

Probably being the key, and arguable word. Samus' augmentation functioned in a similar manner to his, minus the horrible operation. if you've actualy checked into her outside armor ability. she can still jump higher and move faster than the Spartans Clad in they're strength enhancing armor.

as for durability, Samus was 6-8 when she jumped off a cliff. easily high enough to splatter a person, and landed, with grace, so hard she smashed the ground beneath her. also, Ridley, who has "I rip though ships" strength, smacked Samus across the room while not wearing her suit. though obviously in pain she didn't seem have have any bodily or fatal damage.

well thats a bit unrealistic Samus weighs like 300 lbs, it just gets to a point where it feels like anything in that universe is possible for Samus, Halo doesn't have that luxury, it felt more epic, less than half a billion humans survived after the war. So until we get rid of that Nintendo persona of Samus and put her in a universe where laws of physics can explain the "majority" of how things work, Samus will always win.I'm not saying that Samus can do anything she wants at the same time tho.

well, that's the thing, Nintendo usually discards realism for creativity, hence all the titles they have today. the more realistic you make a game (to a certain degree) the more restraints are set on you. about the brining Samus to realism, I'd totally agree. Samus has her advantage because she's from a more creatively active universe. but ask youself this, if you did take her into a more "realistic universe" would it really be ~Samus~ anymore?

and I agree. there are reason they've bee compared though, the two game share a a surprising amount of similar elements between them. you could easily in a summarizing sentence describe both games in the same sentence without having a specific reference from either one. they're from rival companies... sort of. Halo and master chief is the big alien shooter of Microsoft, while Metroid's it's Adventuring Nintendo counter part. so pretty much fanboyism. though mind You I go by statistics, not faves
