Aaron, matter and enegy cannot be destroyed or created. So based off that premise, we can assume that the universe has awlays existed, and is in a cycle of constant change and evolution. Your god is not needed to understand this universe, we have the science of how "all this" came into existance, all you need to do is take the inititive to pick up a book other than the ancient book of fairytales that so many think to be truth. and if you grow up in the middle east, you will most likely be a muslim, if you grow up in the america you will be a christian, if you grow up in berma you will be buddist, etc. How is that free will? did you have the choice of being a muslim, christian, jew, buddist, etc. many people dont practice their cultures traditions, but they still have beliefs and thoughts based on what ever environment they were exposed to.
