I remember a long time ago when Pantera was openning for Skid Row at the Verdun Auditorium back in '92. Me and my buds were probably the only ones wearing Pantera T-shirts . When Dime spotted us he started throwing guitar picks at us and kept throwing untill each of us got one . I will never forget that night. He was a true guitar god and a hell of a great guy . I will miss him . R.I.P.

Diamond darrell was ...( 4 months ago by razorback33)
Diamond darrell was his original name before the vulgar of display album. I have no idea why he changed it, maybe because diamond is pretty gay and dime is more about weed like they were into. As far as the randall amps go, it was his first and last amp, krank was a phase he went thru and it didnt work out. Tube's were not his style. All hail the idol!

He DID have the lightning guitar back then.
His name was actually Darrell Abbott. Then he started using Diamond Darrell. For a while even Diamond Darrell Lovelance. I think his middle name is Lance. I have a pick that says Diamond Fucking Darrell. I used to see them starting in '84 or '85 in Dallas clubs. Was pretty effing cool to see them do Panama and Seek and Destroy in the same set.
