Good old Lindisfarne. Saw the them back in 1972 at Liverpool Stadium. Great show, great band. Pity about Newcastle though; what a duff team they really are. Fans are SHITE too.

Yeah, Geordies in general are ok, but it's the ones who support Newcastle Utd that make me squirm. Yeah, the ones who hounded out Big Sam (although I didn't rate him myself); the ones who'll do the same with Kev, eventually; the ones who sing aloud in places like Benidorm and Mallorca...Blame it on the Geordies who run the club: loud, brash, no football nous at all...Anyway, the decent ones that you mention are probably Lindsfarne...Although poor Alan Hull is dead R.I.P.
