Very sad news you must of been heartbroken, my son as just been diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia and will be having a transplant on 18th august, very worrying times. Hope you are now coping a little better although you will never get over it, all the best mate and good luck for your future.

I have thallassemia Major it is a very serious kind of anemia. I am dependent on blood transfusions for life.I would love to know who my super hero is because they give me the gift.. I had over 900 blood transfusions in my 23 years. I am scared that there is no cure. I pray for all anemia patients that they do not give up we stand for each other Keep fighting.
