I see you know a lot about F/SN, so could you answer this for me: in Archer's sad story, he dies on a hill of swords (from what I read in UBW route of game), and that hill looks just like his Unlimited Blade Works. The whole point of the UBW is for Shirou to accept that being a hero means not saving everyone and in the end will could destroy himself like Archer did, but forgoing all that because it's what he believes. That's why Archer tells Rin to take care of himself(or the other him...Time traveling is confusing)at the very end of UBW
