This is an amateur video of TopGear filming Richard Hammond race a Eurofighter (Typhoon Jet Fighter) in a Bugatti Veyron at R.A.F. Coningsby on Wednesday the 5th of September 2007 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. I happened to be visiting my Grandparent's farm which is across the road from the airbase at the time the show was filmed and had my Kodak v610 there to catch the action. I believe the official episode will be aired sometime before Christmas. The first part of the video shows The Stig driving the Veyron - I needed binoculars to make him out in the driving seat.
The race consisted of the Typhoon taking off, going 1/2 a mile up and then 1/2 a mile back down to the ground to cross the finish line along side the Veyron which had to go 1/2 a mile down the runway and then back 1/2 a mile.
Jeremy Clarkson was also at the filming but stayed out of the limelight
. I'm not sure if James May attended.

Att: wolfshader13; Although Germany (in WW2) may not have been fighting for the right reason, they were no less brave, strong, or smart than any other soldiers. The Panzer series of tank saved more German lives than enemy lives taken, and in the light of WW@, I'd say that's pretty commendable. (I am not German, English, American OR French)
couldnt u get in like me
Being on the outside of the fence meant we could film all we want without breaking any of the contracts/laws and what-not the BBC had setup.
