That's a pretty funny thing to say, considering you were only seven years old at the time. That's not much difference than not being born. I heard these guys for the first time at an Alternative Music bar when I was 20. Maybe it was the drink, maybe it was the weed, but I was so blown away I kept going back to the place just to hear them. Finally I went out and bought Nothings Shocking. :P

i agree with early posters this song along with 1%,whores,chip away,trip away,my time (from,an earlier release or ep-- the live tape)and nothings shocking--a definite stranded island album. saw them for ritual tour at aragon in chicago--89/90?--i was actually dissapointed-it didnt help that henry rollins was the worst act i ever saw live opening for them.

Saw them live in 1989, 90 and again in 91. Amazing. Unfortunately they got worse with each show and not better. I have the orginal pressing of Jane's Addiction which states "PIGS IN TEN" on the pressing and not Pigs in Zen. Who wants it? :-) Eric Avery ... come play with Mental TeLeprosy! Same with you Steve Perkins. Fuck Perry and Dave.
