That's not on trial here so why argue it? When you consider strictly what kind of ununified & conflicted past is behind the Chinese & when you consider how long they have been endeavoring to achieve some sense of cultural unity among everyone, this, as a symbol of what's been achieved to date is nothing short of impressive.
