She later said in a interview that it was hard becasue on American TV you get 7 minutes in an interview then and advertisment break then they come back and continue. But with Parkinson it was nearly a full 20 minutes in one shot so she couldn't have a break or escape. Well tons of other Americans have been interviewed on Parky and they still remained kind and gracious throughout the interview.

I still cringe when i watch this. Meg Ryan is so incredibly insecure and defensive. Instead of defending her position, she has to become insulting, like nobody else can offer a differing idea. Right from the beginning, she insults the two other guests. It makes me never want to see this movie. Oh, and her bloated lips and botox forehead make her look even more artificial and fake and full of herself.

I like Parky, but I do think he picked on her in this interview. She was simply explaining about the character from the film and naturally as an actor she got psychologically wrapped up in it. I think if it had've been Kate Winslet he would not have picked on her like that. As for those other two....they should have a good look in the mirror!

The man is a jerk, plain and simple. I'm a big Jane Campion fan as well. So what if she doesn't have the standard opinion of romance. I believe he put her down and she wasn't even there to defend herself so poor Meg had to do it. It is obvious the man wanted to argue. He was supposed to do an interview not argue with his guests!
