They have way better songs than they have vids. And Shine is an overly rated song.....a good one, but not the best.

Collective Soul has some great videos as well as great songs they are still putting out albums and touring and some people can't seem to get past the self titled album. True fans like collective soul whether their music sucks or not

baiscally i think that the bright colors symbolize happy and peace and what not....and he's talking about of course he keeps talking about being by the sea...i htink the "loud" colors are for the feel of the song....does that help? lol

You must not be a true fan then cause I have been a fan of theirs and even though I like their second album it came from a bad situation (their former manager taking all of their earnings and only giving them $150 a week to live off of). I like all of their albums and it seems many of the fans that liked them when they were with Atlantic Records have basically deserted them and they are forced to go out and tour with Live and Blues Travelers this year to recruit new fans.
