The chorus is very reminiscient of 60 pop. Think Dusty Springfield. In any case, I agree with Neurotic about the metaphor. Remember in the urban jungle we only see pavements. The strange thing is that in rap singing about pavements is acceptable but not in "signing" songs is that fully acceptable.
