Due to some unusual circumstances, a R42 subway train was running on the G line the weekend of August 11-12, 2007, giving an extremely rare front window on the line!

I rember as kid with my mother we would ride this line to Mt. Carmel church in Williamsburg. Is there still a strong smell while going under Newtown Creek? I used to hold my nose back then (the mid 70's)
