This 2 hour special is absolutely excellent! It was created by the same people that made the 'Magic Years' series and the 'Champions of the World' video. There are interviews with his mom, sister, aunt, cousin, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Peter Freestone (his personal assistant), Mary Austin (love of his life and life long best friend), Jim Hutton (his last live in lover), a member of his 1st band The Hectics, several of his close friends.
Have the tissues ready, as you're almost guaranteed to shed a tear at the end of it!

Is she dead? I thought "too much love will kill you", I guess too much fight over the money will kill you too!LOL. Well, at least her boys are rich now, I hope so! Did Freddie leave anything for his nephews, Kashmira's kids. I have heard one of Freddie's nephews looks just like him.

I read Jim's book and I didn't think it was bad. He talked mostly about himself and how his life changed when he met Freddie. He did talk about the final days. In the whole book one sentence said Freddie died when he was changing his clothes because he had wet himself, which from the book he hadn't done before. I don't get it though, as Freddie had gone into a coma, so surely the doctor who had been there all afternoon should have thought of a catheter for a person in a coma?

For some reason I was more interested in Jim talking about breeding Koi, their cats and the things he made out of wood in Freddie's garage. I think parts of the book online just show things that might shock. Who are people talking about who died? Mary isn't dead. She has married again, I know that.

No...it's Rory, Roger's daughter, her mother is Dominique Beyrand, Roger's first wife. The baby was born in 1986, months before the Wembley concert...where the footage of Mary with Rory was taken.
