Continuation. I didn't know where to cut it due to length limits, but I think this is fine. Cheers.

its amazing how a 2d game still remains nice and memorable, even though the other FF's are more to 3d and graphics. Love FF6 :)

hgm005 I might be a bit late on this one but(replying) however each generation has it's own(much like bond movies)so it will be hard for you to fully understand just what we are talking about here. alot of us on ff6/3 have been around since the frist nes, this was one of the last great games before higher powered video cards took over every thing. now days your lucky if anything has a story. let alone a good story. but yes you should go back and play ff6/3
hgm, this may seem ... ( 1 month ago by maguspwns)
hgm, this may seem obvious, but if you do go back and play FF6/3, which you should, remember that it's going to be a lot different than later installments. You have to use a lot more imagination when it comes to seeing the story play out, and perhaps most importantly remeber that it was translated with kids in mind, so many things that seem strange, such as a certain "leap of faith" later in the game, mean something much different than what the translation implies.
Also remember that ... ( 1 month ago by maguspwns)
Also remember that the graphics will be bad and the story will be very slow for the first few hours, stick with it, and you're almost certain to end up loving it. I applaud you for wanting to go back and play the older FFs, compared to 6/3, FF7 wasn't nearly as good imo, because it was overhyped. Most people who started out playing FF7 assume the older ones are obsolete, and won't give them a shot. It's nice to see someone with some sense. :)

i actually started off with ff7 and continued thru up to 10 as they came out n then finaly decided to try the older ones. so far ive only finishd ff6 but i thought it was amazing. i actualy would rate it higher than some of the later games. but i personally still like ff7 best, but that's just me. some ppl on youtube seem to hate me for having a different opinion from them but i think everyone just builds their expectations around the first one they played.

Wow. Why hasn't Uematsu actually composed an opera? Opera, at least popular classical opera, really gone downhill since Schoenberg.

Trumpets do that... ... ( 3 hours ago by Archlvt)
Trumpets do that.... A lot of people I know who listen to classical music say that the trumpet is too bold and obnoxious and they don't like them. Yet the best parts of a classical song that rev you up are because of the trumpet.
Look up the lost odyssey soundtrack on youtube here, and find the song called "a mighty enemy appears!" The trumpets are brilliant and will have you bouncing in your chair.
