If this Actually was a suicide it was a fishy one, everything points either to a murder, or to a suicide with external help. It has so much variables, what if a second person got him high (diazepam alone prevented him to fire a shotgun) and persuade him, but he was way high so tht person did all the work, i mean the letter was way to arranged for a high guy, the weapon inconsistensys as well as a bunch of other stuff point to something else than plain suicide, sorry for my english...

I think it was a murder, she offerd the guy 50,000 dolla but he said no so she was forced to do it himself, so she had to drug him up and shoot him to make it look like a suicide, and the man that said no to her 50k might have went to court and testified against her so she had to take him out, and the cops back then were maybe to lazy to put this into more thought thats why it was ruled a suicide more quickly
