This is the first film trailer for "Dalai Lama Renaissance," a new documentary about the Dalai Lama (which is narrated by actor Harrison Ford, whose film "Indiana Jones 4" is being released in May 2008).

By 2035 the Himalayan glacier will be gone... Tibet shall be a desert with very little water. They do have oil though. China will never give it up. OMG, get real. First of all, Tibet has been part of China since 13th century. Tibet tried to claim independence, but it failed (along with the CIA) and it was never recognized.
Second, Dalai Lama himself say Tibet belongs to China, period. Third, his teaching contradicts what he is doing about freedom. Please view video.

No country is perfect, it is common knowledge. However China is horribly behind in the most important domain of Human Rights. China cannot be trusted to "help" Tibetans or improve their standard of living when China segregates and undermines Tibetans' rights and values. The 2 cultures and not compatible at all. China puts profit before the lives and rights of her own Chinese, how could she ever possibly be fair or helpful to Tibetans when China does not know compassion or spirituality?
