He was eliminated in the final show right before the Final 12, the show after this one when he butchered "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam. Basically 7th place out of the 12 guys. Made me sad, cause I really liked him.

Why didn't he win? He butchered "Nights in White Satin" and "Jeremy." Very sad, he was one of my favorites to get to at least Final 5.
