White black brown american westerners increasingly embracing Sikhism for as their spiritual faith. All races, all nationalities all people of their former faiths are welcome into Sikhism because it is the most ethical religion and most humanterian. Sikhism does not actively seek converts so when people do it is out of their own efforts so its even more amazing how many people are converting.

Brother he wasn't influenced by anything! Yes, he studied both religions, but he was given a DIRECT command by God to utter Gurbani. and Spread Sikhi. Ignore the people who say Guru Ji was a Muslim, or Hindu. Guru Ji was so great EVERYONE wants to claim him (as they did during Gurus time)

theres two types of sikhs according to our guru's; Amritdhari's, those who have givin their whole to the guru, and Sehajdhari's, those who are still sikh but have not been baptised. So just becuz your not baptised doesnt mean ur not a sikh. Your a sikh if u accept the teachings of our great gurus

Sat shri akal everyone, I just want to tell that guru nanak dev ji was not a sikh nor a hindi nor a muslim he was someone who beleived directly to god he didnt like the name of a religion to pray our beleive in god from the second guru ji guru angad dev ji till guru gobind singh ji sikhism was created with as result guru gobind singh ji putting our last mark, guru nanak dev ji was special he was for everyone for every religion. that is what i wanted to say rab rakha everyone

If Guru Nanak was Muslim, why does he not believe in Adam, Eve, Jacob, Jesus, Joshua, Samuel and so on? If Guru Nanak was Muslim, why is it that he denounce fasting? If Guru Nanak was Muslim why is it he believed that there are infinite number of nether regions , Islam believes in only fasting. If Guru Nanak was Muslim why was he a vegetarian and not a halal meat eater. He in fact denounced the act of religion in the consumption of meat. There are many other thinks that are different too...
