My little tribute to Alicia and U2. Ain't nothing like the real thing? Or even better than the real thing?
I made this track 3 days earlier before she did a 30 minutes promotional free concert in Tokyo on Nov 29, 2007, where she played a special stripped version of No One with the W.O.W.Y. bass and guitar riffs, accompanied by 3 musicians from her band (gt, bass, keys). It was an amazing coincidence an
d I just couldn't believe my ears.
Now you get a real "stripped" (to the bone) version of No One.
If Prince walks away with his Guitar, she will follow??

This is a re-upload of the one I pos
ted on November 29, 2007, which was my first vid on YouTube. It got about 46,000 views until April 16, 2008 when my account got deleted.
It was an instant remix made in half a day and I know it's got some problems. I think I should redo it some time.
My first impression of No One was actually like
"hey, it's like a U2 song!". Then, I remembered WOWY, and Bob Marley, The Beatles, Teddy Bears...which is a great history of songs about LOVE.
There should be thousands of songs with the same chord progression (1-5-6-4). Here's the tip of the iceberg. How long must they play these chords???
